BEHIND THE SCENES – POWER

It’s rare in television, when you find an ensemble that has such great chemistry that you forget the actors involved in the script. To you, it’s real. This is what you have in POWER. POWER, which plays on the Starz network, was created by Courtney Kemp Agboh. This powerful dramatic series stars, Omari Hardwick (Ghost), the drug lord trying to go legit. His wife Tasha, played by Naturi Naughton, is his ride or die and will do anything to hold on to her man and their family. His high school love Angela, played by Lela Loren comes back into his life as they reconnect as lovers. And his right hand man, Tommy, played by Joseph Sikora, is Ghost’s best friend and wants to keep their hustle intact. If it sounds like drama, it certainly is.

But beyond this, POWER, offers viewers a real opportunity to see how relationships blossom and how they get tested. Ghost is trying his best to go legit, but his enforcer Tommy, wants nothing of the sort. They both grew up in the streets and made a name for themselves, as well as an intimidating reputation. Why would they give that up just to go legit? On the other side, Ghost is married to Tasha, who seems very loyal, but also loves the comforts that his business affords her. But Ghost never got over Angela. And to add insult to injury, she’s part of law enforcement!

Season 2 should pick up right where the first season left off, on the edge of your seat, biting your fingernails and wondering why it will take 1 entire week to figure out what happens next.

We had an opportunity to feature the cast of POWER in an editorial fashion shoot. The photoshoot was set at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. The chemistry off set was just as amazing when we did the photoshoot.
