NYFW – Public School Spring Summer 2016

The Public School Brand has emerged as a dynamic force with a strong voice. This is just two seasons after their CFDA win for Designers of the Year. Their current projects include being named the new Creative Directors for DKNY, and creating a limited edition collection for the luxury luggage brand Tumi. The design duo of Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne have proven yet again, why they have won design awards. And, they are definitely up for the challenge.

For the Public School Spring Summer 2016 New York Fashion Week runway show, their city aesthetic has been elevated with an elegant touch. Some of the features include flowy fabrics, palazzo pants, parachute style jackets and slinky maxi dresses. Their street wear style aesthetic has a more grown up feel for the spring season. Sticking to their signature black and white with splashes of grey color theme, these looks show a sleek sophistication that takes the classic Public School look to a cool new level. Here are my favorite looks from the show. How would you rock their pieces? Check out the full runway on Vogue.com
