It’s the event of the season, the Oscars of fashion, yes, the CFDA Awards! It’s the night where we honor the best designers and thank them for dressing us in the most fashionable clothes.
The awards ceremony took place at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City on
June 3, 2013. Celebrities including Jessica Chastain, Rooney Mara, Hailee Steinfeld, Linda Cardellini, and Sophia Vergara, were just a few of the stars who came to support the designers who dressed them.
Jessica was pretty in a classic little black dress and Rooney was edgy in a textured black dress by Calvin Klein. Hailee was fun in her shimmering pattern matching crop top and skirt, and Linda Cardellini was fabulous in the fitted leather mini-dress. Sofia Vergara was gorgeous as always in a curve hugging emerald green bombshell gown. These were just a few of the many great looks from this night.
Regardless of who rocked the red carpet or not, it was a celebration of established designers and those making their way to the top. I would like to thank them for bringing us amazing fashions. I can’t wait to see some more!
