Fashion Event – Target FEED Collaboration Launch Party

You’ve probably seen people walking around with FEED tote bags, but did you know that each one of those bags is contributing to providing food for the starving children of the world? It’s pretty amazing, and now Target is partnering with FEED USA to create a collection that will help raise funds for the United Nations World Food Programme’s School Feeding efforts.  The founder, Lauren Bush Lauren  (otherwise known as Ralph Lauren’s daughter) and co-designer of the line, says that this will be the “largest US initiative in FEED’s history.” Looks like someone is following in her father’s footsteps.

At a dinner on June 19, under the historic docks in Brooklyn, NY, Lauren celebrated her collaboration with Target, which included celebrities such as Lea Michele, Karlie Kloss, and Sophia Bush. Could you ask for better company? Not only do they support the cause, but they also showed off their different take on the red-dress code.

Lea Michele dressed up in a red top paired with a fitted blazer and skirt, but her statement necklace is what really made her shine. Karlie Kloss was red hot in leather Jason Wu dress and gladiator sandal heels. Sophia Bush was preppy in her starred black & white Smyth suiting and added pops of red in her bag, heels, and lips to stick to the dress code. Help spread the word on the worthy cause and go to www.Target.com to get involved.
