The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) hosted their big award ceremony for 2014, at the Lincoln Center in New York with film director, John Walters, hosting. This annual event gives recognition to fashion individuals from all areas of fashion. Celebs attending this year’s celebration of the best & brightest in the fashion industry included, Solange Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Heidi Klum, Emmy Rossum, Olivia Wilde, Sophia Bush and many more.
Among the award winners were twin actresses turned designers, Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen of The Row, who won Accessories Designer of the Year. Josheph Altuzzara won Womenswear Desinger of the Year and last year’s Swarovski Award for Menswear winners, Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne of Public School won for Menswear Designer of the Year. The Fashion Icon Award went to Rihanna and she showed her daring style in a see through Swarvovski crystal dress by Adam Selman.
