RED CARPET – American Music Awards 2014

The American Music Awards are given every year, to the industry’s popular artists and music! With Pit Bull as the show’s host, Taylor Swift did a great job opening the show with her song, Blank Space. This year, superstar artists, One Direction, Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea, Beyonce were multiple winners. The Favorite Male artist went to Sam Smith. Favorite Male Country Artist was Luke Bryan and Favorite Female Country Artist was Carrie Underwood.

As entertaining as the show is, our favorite part is the Red Carpet arrivals to see all the glamorous fashion. This year, black was a very popular color with Selena Gomez, Mary J Blige, Diana Ross, Nikki Minaj, Fergie, and Christina Millian, all showing us the versatility of black with different silhouettes. Of course, Jennifer Lopez dazzled in a pale cutout wrap dress. Kate Beckinsale was stunning in a white deep V-neck gown and Jessie J looked fabulous in a sleek while suit. Bright colors were represented by Danai Gurira in electric green, Julianne Hough in red and Rita Ora in a gorgeous bright canary yellow gown. Both Zendaya and Jordin Sparks brought the sparkle with gold lamé colored outfits. Who had your favorite red carpet look?
