RED CARPET – 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards

The Red Carpet for this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards was quite dazzling.  Long gone are the serious fashion faux pas of the past. A new age of Hollywood Glamour is in full effect.  This year the Emmy color stories fell into 3 categories…. Blushes, Brights and Bold.

My favorite look of the night was an alum of  RegardMag.com, Carrie Preston, who won an Emmy earlier in the week for her guest role on The Good Wife. I loved the blush color and the fit of her gown by Romona Keveza. Her hair was stunning and also complimented her look. Claire Danes, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Kerry Washington all chose fabulous blush colored gowns to represent the last day of summer.

It’s doesn’t get brighter than red and Kelly Osborne & Sophia Vergara showed their style in their gorgeous red gowns. And speaking of bright, Tina Fey chose a bright cobalt blue while Anna Faris was very bright in a canary yellow ruched gown and Carrie Underwood stunned in a full skirted purple gown.

My bold picks are Heidi Klum in a shimmery fitted  cutout gown and Kaley Cuoco in a strapless bustier and tulle gown, both in Oxblood red.

Here’s to the return of Hollywood Glamour!!
